Last night, September 14, 2001, the Board of Directors of the Half Moon Bay Coastside Foundation, in a special emergency meeting, unanimously adopted a resolution to sponsor the Pescadero Flood Prevention Project (PFPP). The goal of the PFPP is to re-establish a healthy watershed that is in harmony with the needs of the people of Pescadero, their lands and natural systems.

The SOB Foundation believes that with the leadership provided by PMAC and the continued support provided by the coalition of county, state and federal agencies recently brought together by Supervisor Richard Gordon, the annual flooding that impacts the south coast will be successfully resolved and abated in the near future.

We look forward to working with you and the PMAC as the PFPP moves forward.
