In
last weeks Review, Toni Danxig lamented
that there was a lack of factual
information regarding the true San Mateo County Resource Conservation District
(RCD) agenda being spread throughout the Rural Lands . She seemed to believe
that the Rural Lands residents of
Pescadero didn’t have their flood control priorities in the proper order and
what we really needed to do is “embrace”, “trust” and “cooperate” with the RCD
Pescadero/Butano watershed assessments project. Clearly Ms. Danxig believes the
RCD, Committee for Green Foothills (CGF), POST, MROSD and GGNRA know what is
best for all of us confused and misguided Rural Lands residents. As a Rural
Lands neighbor , I recommend that
before any South Coast Rural Lands private property owner allows Toni
Danxig RCD saviors (assessors) access onto their lands that they first
contact me at 726-3307 or any other neighbor member of the Higgins Canyon
Homeowners Association. We know a great deal about the RCD watershed assessment
process in our Pilarcitos Creek Basin and all the regulatory agencies that accompany the RCD fox after they are
allowed access into your hen house…….just ask a trusted neighbor first!
